Announcing the Third Annual GMSI T-Shirt Design Contest
Last year's contest resulted in many amazing designs. Ruby Dombek's design was selected, and we have all enjoyed wearing our 2009 t-shirts this year! Remember that all students registered this year will get a free GMSI t-shirt .
Here are this year's contest rules. Be sure to note that the deadline for submission of designs is April 1, 2010.
Rules:
- All 2009 students are eligible, even if they will not be attending in 2010.
- Submission can be in digital form or paper form. Art work that is created digitally must be created at a resolution of 300dpi or higher in CMYK mode.
- Size: no larger than 8" x 8"; artwork will be printed on the front of a solid color t-shirt.
- Artwork can be in a single color or multiple colors. Remember that vibrant colors work best due to the nature of the printing process.
- Artwork must include some reference to either music in general, or to all of our instruments: violin/viola, flute, cello, piano. Please don't submit artwork with only one of the instruments!
- Can include only any of the following text but doesn't need to include any text: Green Mountain Suzuki Institute, GMSI; 2010; Rochester, Vermont; In the Heart of the Green Mountains.
- If artwork does not include any text, we will add text.
- All submissions will be displayed at this year's GMSI.
- Selection will be done by a committee that will include, but is not limited to, the executive director, the associate director, a graphics artist, and a parent whose child did not submit a design.
- Deadline: artwork must be postmarked by April 1, 2010.
- Submit via email to: tshirt@greenmountainsuzukiinstitute.org.
- Or submit via mail to: 2010 GMSI T-Shirt Contest, GMSI, 400 Dog Team Road, New Haven, VT 05472.
